Premium Plugin and Theme Support
WP Rollback Pro unlocks rollbacks for premium plugins and themes through two complementary sources: Plugin Vault and Local Backups.
Plugin Vault
Plugin Vault is a shared, cloud-hosted library of premium plugin and theme ZIPs, available exclusively to WP Rollback Pro users. Versions are contributed by the Pro community and verified for integrity before they become available for download.
License Requirement
You must hold a valid, active license for any plugin or theme you roll back via Plugin Vault. See the Plugin Vault license requirements for full details.

- Roll back premium plugins and themes without needing to have WP Rollback installed before the update
- Access versions from virtually any source — Envato/ThemeForest, Kadence Pro, Astra Pro, GeneratePress Pro, Divi, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, and more
- Versions sourced from the Vault are labeled with a Vault badge in the rollback UI
Local Backups
In addition to the Vault, WP Rollback automatically creates a local zip archive of the current version of every plugin and theme before it is updated. These are stored in wp-content/uploads/wp-rollback/ and appear with a Local badge in the rollback UI.
Local backups give you a site-specific snapshot of exactly what was running before an update — useful when you need the precise version your site had, not just any version from the Vault.
How a Premium Rollback Works
- Open the rollback UI for the plugin or theme
- WP Rollback fetches available versions from Plugin Vault and your local archive alongside any WordPress.org versions
- Each version is labeled by source (Vault, Local, or Repo)
- Select the version you want and confirm — WP Rollback downloads and installs it
Activity Logging and Tracking
Comprehensive Logging
- Rollback Events: Every rollback action is logged with timestamps
- User Tracking: Records which user performed each rollback
- Version Details: Logs from/to version information
- Rollback Date: Tracks the date and time of the operation
